James Thomson

James is an established M&A investment banker with over 15 years of experience across the UK and Asia with Deutsche Bank where he was also a Managing Director and APAC Head of Transport, Aviation & Logistics. Prior to joining Princeville, James was Head of UK Financial Sponsors at Natixis where he covered a number of European and Global private equity and infrastructure funds focused on the Energy Transition and Renewables sectors.

James is a qualified Chartered Accountant and received his First Class MA(Hons) in Accounting & Finance at Herriot-Watt University. Having spent 15 years in Hong Kong, James relocated back to the UK in late 2022 where he lives with his wife and two children. James is an avid follower of rugby, and a keen skier with a passion for cooking.
