Edward Cheung

Edward Cheung is a Managing Partner at Asia Private Equity Solutions (APES), an investment firm investing in funds and companies leveraging software and technology on behalf of a Hong Kong-based family office.

Edward started his career at Tencent's M&A and Investment Team. He helped formulate and drive Tencent's financial and strategic investment thesis in enterprise software, cloud/data infrastructure and AI. He was involved with the deployment of $800M+ of capital into companies such as SoundHound, Ola, MiningLamp, Transwarp, and Xiaoshouyi.

He received his B.A. in economics from Brown University.
