Melanie Nakagawa attended the Trilateral Forum Tokyo, a Japan-US-European Strategic Dialogue organized by the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the Tokyo Foundation. This annual Forum brought together European, American and Japanese from government, media, business, and academia to discuss pressing foreign policy, economic, and security issues. She joined the panel focused on climate change to discuss action beyond the Paris Agreement, the role for European and Japanese partners, and the implications of a rapid transition to renewable energy.
